About Us (or a Word from the Boss)

 

This site is not an aggregator per se. We don't have some algorithm scanning the Internet for stuff we think you might want to read or see. Instead, we go looking for it ourselves. That's why you don't see any sort of consistency with regard to post times or anything like that. If you don't see anything today, it's because we happen to be busy with other things, just like you might have been yesterday. Just come around later and see what we have then.

 

At NewsRocket, we are anarchists. Not in the sense of advocating chaos and violence, but in the classic sense of getting along without a centralized authority bossing everyone around. We look for material that calls out the liars, brings forth the truth, and maybe even injects a little humor into things. From time to time, we may even post a few words ourselves.

 

We are currently a two-man operation preparing to add a third (and maybe a fourth). At the time of posting, only one of us is actually doing the work, while the other is sharing thoughts and ideas about what we can do with it. As we grow, you will see more of them and not just me ("The Hat" - in this case the "Liberty" hat, one of the many hats I wear). We will use pseudonyms to protect our privacy (the only pseudonym below that has actually been decided is mine, but we are real people just like you. If you are interested in any of our advertisers, please feel free to patronize them, as they will be a big part of what keeps this site up and running.
