Look. I love Gary Franchi, but he's missing a huge point here. Congress will NEVER allow DC to be a State, especially in the same way the current fifty are. Constitutionally, Congress has full dictatorial powers over the District of Columbia. It's pretty much the only place they can lawfully collect an income tax. Yeah, they're giving up those powers tomorrow ... NOT.
Anyway, Gary is still great at presenting his opinion in a way that is entertaining, and I do agree with him a lot of the time.
