There is probably no population in the world more fooled by the Coronavirus scam than that of New Jersey. The Fuehrer, a fascist scumbucket in the tradition of the likes of Stalin and Hitler calling himself Phil Murphy, can't seem to remember that this is supposed to be a place where government secures the rights of the People and otherwise leaves them alone.
Instead, Herr Murphy stands on the throats of the People of New Jersey.
To be clear, where there is a human being willing to provide a product or service to another, and there is another human being willing to accept that service, with or without exchange of value, there is no human being or group of human beings that has any right whatsoever to interfere with that transaction. Putting on a costume and a badge or collecting enough votes to call yourself a "governor" doesn't change that one bit. Neither does scaring a bunch of people into believing there is an deadly virus going around that is going to kill everyone who doesn't isolate himself from others and wear a muzzle every waking hour.
This is, however, the nature of government, regardless of what form it may take.
It is time to thank Heaven (whatever form it takes in your life) for people like Frank Trumbetti and Ian Smith.
If people didn't feel safe and comfortable at Atilis Gym, they simply wouldn't go; and that's how it should be (For the record, the place is usually pretty busy. But even if it were empty, there is nobody with any legitimate right or power to stop them from opening if they so choose). Nobody else has any legitimate say in the matter - not the neighbors, not the town council, not the police, and DEFINITELY not the governor. Everyone has an absolute right to speak his mind about it, but there isn't anything anyone can legitimately DO about it.
Meanwhile, the town council decided it didn't want their licensing fees anymore.
I saw somewhere this morning that they had been fined by a state court, but have been unable to find this in order to post it here. (Found it. Interesting how the "major" news sources avoided it.)
On the upside, the guys are finding support for the cause. Dan Bongino recently paid them a visit, and GOP Senate candidate Rik Mehta has also thrown his hat into the game. The problem with these developments is that neither has any real pull in state-level matters, though the guys' support for the campaign could offer some protection as noted in the link.
The real support for these guys is purely grass-roots. Their legal defense GoFundMe page has raised over $300,000 in worthless Fed Notes for the cause (link here - check it out and donate if you can). With most, if not all, donations under $400, that is a lot of support, especially given the large number of $25 and $50 donations in the pile. It's probably going to take a lot more than that, though, as this case is surely headed all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court, and rightly so.
The SCOTUS needs to put a stop to this, and make sure not only that it never happens again anywhere, but that Frank and Ian are properly compensated for all these headaches and defamation. This is one of the most egregious violations of human rights I have seen. Not only Frank's and Ian's, but those of all their patrons as well.
Every American needs to be standing with these guys. Your rights could be next.
