The Hat: Update 9/15/2021

Things are moving in the right direction, albeit slowly. I've taken on some extra work that may create some gaps in the reporting here, as we have had in recent weeks. I'm hoping to get together with my cohorts at some point when we are all free (that's the hard part) to maybe divide up the work of keeping NewsRocket current (which was the original concept anyway).

Interesting things are happening. People are standing up. Now we are even starting to see some of this here in America. Why it has taken so long may have something to do with the fact that Americans haven't been forced to stand up at home in a very long time, and that the opposition has been reluctant to do anything here due to so many Americans being armed.

I hope to possibly include a little more of my own input as we are going further into this endeavor, as I do miss the opportunity to put my own words out there. I still do not have any intention of having a public comment area. Any comment sections added to these pages will feature only our core contributors. I just can't be bothered moderating that this time around. It was lots of fun to do that, but it was far too time-consuming. As it is, I throw away over a thousand articles a day to bring you the ones I post.

We are seeing more steady traffic recently, and I hope to be able to enjoy being able to say that more and more. It's strange that this has been happening given that I have been anything but steady here over the last few weeks. For your continued support, I thank you (along with the rest of us).
